We offer a free estimate in the showroom, or for a nominal fee we will visit your home, take measurements, pictures and discuss the project with you. We then generate a proposal for products selected and labor for our professional installation.

It takes about 10 man-days to remodel an existing 5' x7' bath, but the amount of time can vary due to the intricacy of the design. A kitchen remodel can take 4 weeks or longer to complete. The amount of detail work in the design will determine the actual time frame.

The lead times for the products you purchased can take up to 4 weeks to receive ( kitchen cabinets can take up to 8 weeks). We prefer to wait until all of your products are in our warehouse prior to starting your project. Typically, we can start a bath remodel in 3-5 weeks after contract signing.
We have had clients in the past that wanted to do some of their own work. We are willing to work with you to complete your project.
We guarantee our workmanship for one year and manufacturers' warranties apply to all products and materials.
The construction debris is typically staged in a section of your garage or other designated area. All debris is hauled away and disposed of. We recycle metals and cardboard.
We protect your home by placing tarps down in the pathways, closing doors and setting up plastic barriers if needed. We ask you to remove pictures, furniture, etc that are in the pathways. The work areas are cleaned on a daily basis.
Absolutely! We can assist you in design and color selection, store the materials in our warehouse and even deliver them if you wish.
Since we do not have access to all the products in the marketplace, we have no problem with you supplying 1 or 2 items. However, The Bath & Kitchen Works will only guarantee the installation of client supplied merchandise. We would not be responsible for any manufacturer's warranty claims or associated labor on those items.
We accept cash and checks. On small projects, a 50% deposit is required with the remainder due upon substantial completion. On larger projects, a one third deposit is required at contract signing, one third is due when work begins and the remainder is due upon substantial completion. Substantial completion refers to situations where the project is essentially finished but a product has a defect, such as a scratched or split cabinet door, and we are waiting to receive a replacement from the manufacturer.
